The Tzolkin Calendar

The Mayan 260-day Personal Calendar

The Tzolkin, personal calendar that the Maya celebrated every day, is the inspiration for this calendar. It is a record of the flow and combination of the solar and galactic light which creates a light frequency for each day. This frequency in turn creates the "stage" on which we act out our lives.

Once a person has determined or remembered his part in the play of life, his or her frequency, they can more easily harmonize with reality and accomplish their goals. Each day in Creation is created with its own energy. This energy permeates all of our reality seen and unseen. There are 20 different Day Lord Energies or "Sacred Sun Signs" (energy sent by the Sun) and 13 Galactic Energies or "Tones" sent from the Central Sun of our

galaxy. The Central Sun of our galaxy is called, Hun' Nab Ku. (The One giver of Movement and Measure)

Each of the Day Lords has a personality that carries an aspect of creation and each Galactic Tone carries a purpose and intention for creation. In combination they give each day a "flavor" and intent. Because of the remarkable work of Ian Xel Lungold and his simple formula, we have access to find any day on the Mayan calendar from the Gregorian calendar. His codex is the highlight of this calendar and what this calendar is based upon.
